It gets better. I haven’t used my car for three days and the battery is flat. I should be on the road by now… Thankfully I have homestart breakdown cover but it’s still a pain. A new battery is needed methinks.
Still, time for a slice of toast for breakfast.
You must have a dodgy battery, no? Or one that’s run out? Mine seems to last for much longer when my car hasn’t been moved.
When Mazda MX-5s left Japan they didn’t have alarms fitted. Mazda UK added them on arrival in Britain for this market. They couldn’t upgrade the tiny battery though because there isn’t enough room in the boot.
You can fit a bigger battery but you have to create your own brackets and the cover doesn’t fit. In short, it’s a pain…
